Regularly reading the obituary page can alert you to a newly single man. Remember, it isn't just the old and infirm that die. Sometimes a younger man will become a widow. Show up for the funeral, and offer him a shoulder to cry on. Chances are he'll want to thank you later with a nice dinner.
