Today at the Birch Street Nursing Home, I surprised the patients by joining them first thing at the poker table. I felt bad after last week when I spent the whole day down in my basement labratory working on the teeth of the robot seeing eye dog. So I wanted to make it up to them by spending the entire morning playing poker. I also brought along some strawberry jelly for their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, to give them a break from the normal grape.
