Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

The coronavirus outbreak has resulted in significant changes in people's behavior, including social distancing and the wearing of masks in public. This reminded me of a couple of questions from the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll, and I thought I'd take the opportunity to share the data with you. One question I asked was, "How often do you wear masks during your activities?" Of the 221 respondents, almost all indicated that their work calls for the wearing of masks at least on occasion, but only four people said they wear masks one hundred percent of the time. I also asked, "How often do you travel abroad?" Obviously, with certain travel restrictions now in place, the respondents' answers probably no longer strictly apply. That being said, I was surprised to find that only twelve percent of those who answered travel abroad at least once a year. And nearly fifty percent said that they do not travel abroad at all. One respondent wrote that as much as he would love to do some work in other countries, any such travel would be ill-advised given his situation. While I was going through the data, another question caught my eye. Though unrelated to the current pandemic, I found the results quite interesting. I asked, "Who do have assist you with your experiments?" I was tickled to find that more than a dozen of my fans have used escaped convicts. What a great idea! Any time they might hesitate to comply with some particularly dangerous or odious task, you can just threaten to turn them in.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, last week Cindy lost three of her friends over at the Birch Street Nursing Home. That reminded me of one of the questions you answered in the 2017 Fanny Game Fan Poll, which was "How many funerals have you attended over the past year?" I looked over the data, and decided to share the results. Most of you went to between four and six funerals in the year leading up to the Fanny Game Fan Poll. Several of you, however, reported going to no funerals at all, with some of you stating emphatically that you avoid them. One busy young man attended fifty-four funerals.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, I have decided to release some more information gathered from the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll. Of the 221 respondents:
  • 145 reported knowing their neighbors' work schedules
  • 92 belong to a gym
  • 44 have used at least one of my discarded aliases
  • 16 reported seeing a ghost
  • 2 have tampered with Halloween candy

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, another surprising result from the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll was the response to my question, "How often do you change your telephone number?"  While the number of trips to the carnival among my fan base was surprisingly low, as you'll recall from yesterday's post, the answer to this question was surprisingly high. The majority of my fans change their phone numbers every six months, which is even more often than I change mine.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Posting about Madame Saber reminded me that there was a question about carnivals in the 2017 Fanny Game Fan Poll. I had asked, "How often do you visit a carnival each year?" I was saddened to read the responses to this one, Kiddies. More than half of the 221 poll respondents don't visit carnivals at all, and among those that do, most only go once a year. Let's see if we can get those numbers higher, Kiddies!

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, as you know, I am conducting an important cryonics experiment. Tomorrow is the big day, when I will be opening three of the cryogenic tanks and removing the cats contained within. I have the maid standing in front of the tanks, keeping a watchful eye on the temperature, so I've been using some of this time to go through more of the data collected in the 2017 Fanny Game Fan Poll. One question I posed to the 221 respondents was, "How many times a day do you check Grandmother's Fanny Game for updates?" I am delighted to find that a few people check it up to a dozen times a day. Now that's dedication! Most of my fans are content to check the blog once or twice a day.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, Monday I will be opening three of the cryogenic tanks. While I am excited to learn the results of that experiment, I have been putting my time this week to good use, going over the data collected in the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll. One of the questions the 221 respondents answered was, "How many aliases do you use?" While I was surprised to learn that a number of Fanny Game fans don't use aliases at all, most respondents do employ multiple aliases, the median being seven.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

As you know, next week I plan on opening a few of the cryogenic tanks. In the meantime, I am keeping busy by going through the data collected from the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll. I am delighted to report that a very low percentage of Fanny Game fans have been incarcerated. Keep reading Grandmother Winsome's Legal Advice and avoid trouble, Kiddies!

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, in this final week before I open some of the cryogenic tanks, I am using my time to go through the data collected in the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll. Of the 221 respondents, fewer than half have children. But among those that do have children, more than fifty percent have adopted children. I am glad all my tips on adoption have proved to be of such great help.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, I am continuing to go through the data collected from the 2017 Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll. I am pleased to see that I have fans all over the world. The 221 poll respondents include fans from eight different countries. Among those who live in the United States, I was surprised to find a significant number of fans residing in Hawaii. I wonder how many of those good people know Pistol Jim.

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, I know I haven't released much of the data from the Fanny Game Fan Poll of 2017, but in this final week before I open some of the cryogenic tanks, I have some time to go through that data. As you'll recall, there were 221 respondents who each answered 50 questions, some general and some of a more personal nature. I mentioned earlier that a surprising number of my fans are either psychologists or lawyers. And today I am tickled pink to tell you that people of all ages enjoy Grandmother's Fanny Game. The youngest person polled is seven, and the oldest is close to a hundred (happy birthday, Trixie).

Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll

Kiddies, thanks to everyone who took part in the Grandmother's Fanny Game Fan Poll. I am delighted that more than two hundred of you answered the fifty questions I posed. I'm having a wonderful time sorting through the data, and some of the early results are surprising. Among the professions of Grandmother's Fanny Game fans, there are a large number of you who are psychologists. I am also delighted to find that a great number of lawyers are fans of my blog. Remember, when you repeat my legal advice to your clients, be sure to tell them where you heard it first.
