Today at the Birch Street Nursing Home, I helped the patients put away their summer sweaters and take out their winter sweaters. Mrs. Henley said to celebrate the change of seasons she wanted to press leaves into a book like she did when she was a child. So once the patients all had on their heavy sweaters, we went outside. None of the leaves had fallen yet, so I pulled a few off the nearest tree for Mrs. Henley. But then some of the others got cold and we went back inside.
