Cindy's Job At The Birch Street Nursing Home

Today was the first day I've been back at the Birch Street Nursing Home in a month, and there was a note from the head nurse reminding me to take my pay home. The note was on top of a small stack of cash from the weeks I missed work. I hadn't had time to tell her that I wouldn't be in. Grandmother had called an emergency drill, which ended up with us traveling through various national and county parks around the country. Grandmother had instructed us to leave all our electronic devices behind in a secure area of the Winsome Headquarters basement, where they were guarded by the robot maid. For a moment, I thought that I should return the money to the head nurse, since I didn't actually work the last three weeks, but then I thought better of it and threw the money into the pot during one exciting hand of poker, which Mrs. Lieberman won.
