Between hands of poker today, Mrs. Lowe said it might be fun to hold a Birch Street Nursing Home dance. Mr. Oliveras quickly agreed that it would be a blast. Within moments, everyone at my table was excited about the idea. Soon the players at Mrs. Lieberman's table joined in, naming songs they'd like to hear again. When I left for the day, the patients were still in the activity room, planning their dance for next Saturday evening.
