Today at the Birch Street Nursing Home, I thought the weather was nice enough to take the poker game outside. But the patients weren't interested at all. Mr. Richards reminded me that the weekends are their only chance to enjoy the improvements they made to the activity room. And they certainly did enjoy their time in the room today. Mrs. Kunkle said more than once how nice it was to look down at the hardwood floor rather than at the stained carpet that used to be there, and Mrs. Henley kept telling everyone how much she loved the new drapes.
