Cindy's Job At The Birch Street Nursing Home
When I got to the Birch Street Nursing Home this morning, I was suprised that there was no new note from the head nurse about the work going on in the activity room. Mr. Richards, in his brief meeting on the goals for the day, said the plan was to just finish painting the mauve accent wall, since Mrs. Lieberman had told him she had an itch to play some poker. It took much more time than he expected, but we did finish painting the accent wall, which was the final bit of painting for this project. Somehow even more paint ended up on the carpet, but that will be taken care of next week. After we cleaned the paint brushes, we had enough time for only two hands of poker before some of the patients began nodding off.
