Today at the Birch Street Nursing Home, I decided to follow through on my New Year's resolution and do a little work in my basement laboratory. I powered up the old machine that Grandmother gave me, and everything seemed to be fine, until one of Cinnamon's doctors came down to tell me the power was flickering in her room and he kept having to reset the hairdryer and eggbeater.
