Today at the Birch Street Nursing Home, there was a note attached to my list of chores. The head nurse asked if I could work on Thanksgiving because she and the other nurses want to spend the holiday with their families. I left her a note saying I'd do it for time and a half pay. I'll put that extra five dollars toward more laboratory supplies.
