My experiment came to a premature conclusion today at the Birch Street Nursing Home after Mrs. Henley decided to leave the poker game. Since the goal of the experiment was to determine whether breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day by seeing how those who didn't get the meal performed at poker, Mrs. Henley realized the way to get breakfast was to stop playing. The other patients in the unfed group quickly followed her lead. However, based on the data I was able to compile over the last four weeks, I think it's fair to conclude that it is important to have breakfast.
