Cindy's Job At The Birch Street Nursing Home
Today at the Birch Street Nursing Home, a new doctor came to see Crystal. He must have been right out of medical school, because he was young and nervous. He asked me if he needed to wear protection, and I told him as long as he had his shots, he didn't have to wear a mask.

Edward's Traveling Learning Center
If your children's school has shut down due to a coronavirus outbreak, and you're tired of having them at home with you, I will take care of them in my traveling learning center. In the back of my converted ice cream truck, students will have a quiet place to learn arithmetic, science and physical education.

Cindy's Job At The Birch Street Nursing Home
Today Sniffles The Eighth managed to get into Cinnamon's room while one of her doctors was seeing her. When the doctor was on his way out, I apologized to him for the trouble. He said it was perfectly all right, that he loves dogs, but since he hadn't ordered it, he wasn't going to pay extra. I didn't quite get the joke, but laughed anyway.

Jane's Tips For Online Dating
The sudden rise in coronavirus cases has put a halt to our plans to be wined and dined inside our favorite elegant restaurants. And so people are again deciding to meet online and conduct their relationships over the computer. While this might not sound like fun, there are some benefits to online dating. For example, you don't run the risk of breaking a heel and having to walk home barefooted in the rain.

Cindy's Job At The Birch Street Nursing Home
On my way to the Birch Street Nursing Home this morning, I stopped to buy more dog treats. However, this time I made sure to buy the ones that are shaped like bones so that Mr. Pearlman wouldn't accidentally eat them all again. Sniffles The Eighth spent most of the day napping underneath the poker table. But late in the afternoon when Mr. Pearlman finally called for his seeing eye dog, the treats did the trick and Sniffles The Eighth ran right up to him. I can't remember the last time I saw Mr. Pearlman looking so pleased.

Cindy's Job At The Birch Street Nursing Home
I stopped at the store again on my way to the Birch Street Nursing Home this morning to buy more dog treats for Sniffles The Eighth. Last week, he came each time I fed him one, but by the time Mr. Pearlman called for him, the bag was empty and the dog stayed put. So today I gave the treats to Mr. Pearlman and told him to use one whenever he needed his seeing eye dog. He put the bag of treats in his pocket, but late in the afternoon when he called Sniffles The Eighth, the dog didn't respond. I saw the problem right away. Mr. Pearlman was holding a cough drop. When I told him, he got angry, realizing he'd been eating from the wrong pocket all day.

Fanny Mail: A Kind Offer From A Fan In Ohio
Kiddies, I just received an email from Margaret Strauss of Zanesville, Ohio. Margaret writes: "Dear Grandmother Winsome, during the pandemic when all of our social activities were put on hold, my husband and I got rather bored and lonely. We ended up adopting several pets, which kept us company and often kept us amused. But now that our church has reopened and the bridge club is meeting again, we no longer need these five cats. We were wondering if you might have use for them in your next experiment. We'll even cover the shipping."
Thank you, Margaret, for your generous offer. However, you are not alone in having acquired pets during the pandemic that are no longer wanted. Several other fans were in the same position, and as a result I have more than enough cats for my next several experiments. But thanks again for thinking of me.
