For Those With A Disease

No one wants a terminal illness. But often people get them anyway. If you should acquire one, one way to turn it into a more positive experience is to make a list of all the terrible, perhaps criminal, things you've always wanted to do but didn't because of the consequences. Now you can go ahead and do them. Perhaps limit yourself to one a week. That all depends, of course, on how much time you have left, and how long your list is.

For those who do not have a terminal illness, write your list anyway, and then tuck it away in a safe, special place. It will be ready when you need it later. And perhaps there are some things on that list you might want to do when you get a cold. No one enjoys getting a cold, and accomplishing one of these tasks might be just the thing to cheer you up. Just don't go doing everything on your list, because then when you get a disease you'll be disappointed.
